Welcome to Photo Recovery. We are deeply committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how our app requests permissions, processes data, and interacts with third-party services like Google AdMob and Google Play Billing.
2. Permissions We Request and Why
To provide our core recovery features, our app strictly requires the following Android permissions:
- All Files Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): This permission is critical for our app. It allows us to perform a deep scan of your device's internal storage and SD card to locate and restore deleted photos, videos, and files. Without this, the app cannot find lost media.
- Read & Write Contacts (READ_CONTACTS / WRITE_CONTACTS): Requested to enable the recovery and restoration of deleted contacts directly to your phonebook.
- Internet & Network State: Used to display advertisements and handle in-app purchases or subscriptions.
3. Local Data Processing (No Cloud Uploads)
Your data is yours. All file scanning, contact reading, and recovery processes happen 100% locally on your device. We DO NOT upload, store, or transmit your recovered photos, videos, or contacts to any external servers or databases.
4. Third-Party SDKs and Services
Our app integrates the following third-party services that may collect data in accordance with their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob: We use AdMob to display ads. AdMob may use your device's Advertising ID (AD_ID) to serve personalized or non-personalized ads.
- Google Play Billing: We use this service to process premium subscriptions securely. We do not have access to your credit card information.
5. Data Security
Since your files and contacts never leave your device through our app, they remain inherently secure. However, we encourage users to keep their devices updated with the latest security patches.
